This site is a tribute to Jonesy, who was born in Bishop Auckland Hospital on December 25, 1980. 

Neil Paul Jones was my brother, who was given the nickname Jonesy by his dear friends at school. On the 1st of May 2009, his life was tragically ended by means of murder at just 28 years old. He was a cherished son/ stepson to Susan Swallow, Ronnie Swallow, David Jones and Helen Jones. A loving dad to Nicole Jones, devoted husband to Heather and a wonderful brother to myself (Jessica Swallow) and David Swallow. He was also a much loved grandchild, nephew and cousin. His memory continues to live on through us all. 

I have linked the charity 'Child Bereavement UK' to the tribute as myself, David and Nicole were only children when we lost our dad/brother, myself being 9, David being 7 and Nicole being just 4, so this is a charity that is very close to my heart as they help children deal with bereavement.
